On 16-17th of October 2024, members of the Steering Committee (SC) of The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence (ENSEC COE) met in Bordeaux, France. Representatives from ENSEC COE Framework and Sponsoring Nations, as well as Contributing Partners, Observers and ENSEC COE Staff members discussed questions regarding ENSEC COE Programs of Work for 2024 and 2025, legal matters, communication, budget and other questions.
25th SC meeting was chaired by Mr. Karolis Aleksa, Head of Defence Policy Department, Ministry of Defence of Lithuania.
In addition to the meeting, participants had a possibility to visit SAFT Battery Manufacturing Facility and La Cité du Vin museum in Bordeaux.
SC members (in-person) meets twice a year in a different location. Next SC meeting is planned to be organized in Lithuania.
