Programs

Fellowship program at the NATO ENSEC COE

The Centre provides fellowships on a case-by case basis subject upon availability of interest and work assignment at the Centre and ensures that the duties performed during fellowship is rewarding and enriching. Applications for the fellowship should normally be supported by the university or related institution of the candidate.

Main fellow responsibilities

Fellows, as also interns, are invited to join the daily life of the NATO ENSEC COE and work with different projects. Depending from Centres interests they will be assigned to different Divisions and projects. Fellows will have to work on projects, researches, analyses, publications etc.

Duration: up to 6 months

Engagement: Full-time or remote

Candidates requirements: from NATO and NATO Partnership for Peace programme countries

Security clearance: Availability of the NATO Security Clearance (at least NATO RESTRICTED) preferable

Payment: not paid, the Centre may provide a stipend

Insurance: upon responsibility of the fellow (to be submitted)

Accommodation: upon responsibility of the fellow

Internship program at the NATO ENSEC COE

Starting from 2013 the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence is providing a limited number of internships to young researchers from universities and research institutes. This internship programme will promote the respective work of young academics and professionals from NATO member states and partner countries.

Main fellow responsibilities

Interns are invited to join the daily life of the NATO ENSEC COE and work with different projects. Depending from the Division they will be assigned to, interns will have to do research papers, write articles, participate and organize conferences, workshops, meetings, etc. The NATO ENSEC COE is looking for young experts from these areas: international relations, communication, legal affairs, marketing, engineering and other programs, relevant to security or energy.

Duration: 4 months

Engagement: Full-time or remote

Candidates requirements: from NATO and NATO Partnership for Peace programme countries

Payment: not paid

Insurance: upon responsibility of the intern (to be submitted)

Accommodation: upon responsibility of the intern
