In November 2014, the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and the State Military Scientific Technical Center „DELTA“ of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia organized an international conference and industry exhibition “Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications” (IESMA 2014), which took place in Vilnius, Lithuania.

IESMA 2014 provided a unique opportunity to exchange information about best practices and technologies for advancing energy efficiency in the military. The conference brought together experts from academia, industry and the military that exchanged knowledge and discussed lessons learned, with a focus on standard, advanced and cutting-edge energy saving technologies. The industrial exhibition gave an opportunity for innovative energy technology and solution providers to display and explain their latest products that would improve energy efficiency during military activities.
